Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT & Operations departments, covering business operational support, system administration, and IT infrastructure.
• Oversee the performance, maintenance, and security of core systems, ensuring optimal uptime and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support day-to-day operations and future technology enhancements.
• Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
• Drive continuous improvements across IT operations and proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Provide timely support and solutions to resolve technology issues impacting end-users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience
• Solid exposure to business operational support, network and system administration, and infrastructure management
• Prior experience in a regulated environment (e.g. MiCA, DORA, GDPR, etc.), preferably within financial services, is highly preferred
• Technical background, understanding cloud technologies (Saas, PaaS, IaaS), basic AWS knowledge, basic understanding of microservice architecture principles, CI/CD and SDLC understanding
• Professional experience in the IT environment - ideally gained experience in IT Service Continuity management and/or Business Continuity Management.
• Ability to speak with non-technical colleagues, ability to transform technical risks to business risks and vice versa
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain hands-on when needed
• Analytical thinking, ability making business conclusions from technical details
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), Chinese or EU-based language (e.g. Czech) is a plus
